Create useful new storage space under any surface such as tables and workbenches. These instructions will cover how to mount the GEN2 rails, add optional hardware to drawers, as well as how to install and remove additional drawers.
Check out this video for a quick overview of the installation process ►
• (OPTIONAL) Install M3 nuts into the slots on the rails, these can be pulled into place from the other side of the hole using an M3 screw.
NOTE: These nuts were the primary method to lock earlier versions of the GEN2 drawers in place, newer drawers now longer use this thanks to the new QuickLock mechanism that we will be installing. Some attachments such as Steel Sheet Holders still require nuts to lock in place, but in most cases, are usually installed under drawers.
• Using wood screws secure the rails to the underside of a table. It is recommended to install one in each corner as well as in between drawers. If there will be more weight placed in the drawers you can increase the number of screws used.
NOTE: On certain surfaces it might be easier to pre-drill the holes for the screws. Use the screw holes in the rails to help mark the hole positions using a marker. Use a scratch-awl to punch to create a divot for the pilot hole.
• Place the right QuickLock (Labeled “R”) in the from right side of the case, followed by the left QuickLock (“L”) on the opposite side.
NOTE: QuickLock should install relatively easy, but you may need to help guide the bottom springy portion with your finger to prevent it from catching on the edge of the inside of the drawer.
• (OPTIONAL) Install either of the magnets near the back of the case.
NOTE: To keep polarity the same you can hold a magnet behind another drawer case for reference to find the correct orientation.
• (OPTIONAL) Press in the right Drawer Stopper (Labeled “R”) in the from right side of the case, followed by the left Drawer Stopper (“L”) on the opposite side.
NOTE: These help prevent drawers from falling out when pulled all the way forward
• (OPTIONAL) Install either of the optional magnets near the back of the case.
NOTE: Keep the orientation the same as the drawer case otherwise the drawer will push away rather than pulling into place. You can push the magnets out through the bottom of the drawer and case using a pin or thin hex key if needed.

• Align the drawer with the slots in the rails we installed under the table surface in STEP 1. Slide the drawer all the way back until both QuickLocks spring up and lock the case in place.
• Tilt the drawer back slightly while installing, this helps avoid the drawer stoppers from the above rail or drawer case. Continue sliding the drawer all the way back until the front is flush with the surface of the drawer case. If you installed optional magnets the drawer should be held gently in place by their magnetism.
• Remove drawer from case and press both QuickLocks down, while they are pressed down the drawer case can be pulled towards you and out.
NOTE: There are small slots on the side of the drawer case, these are used as an indicator to verify the engagement of the QuickLock as well as a secondary way to pull the Quicklock down by placing a small hex key into the hole on the Quicklock and pulling down.
The underside of each drawer case have the same grooves as the GEN2 rails mounted to the underside of the table, simply follow the same steps as shown in STEP 4 to installed drawers under each other
