The GEN2 modular storage system offers a versatile, 3D-printable solution for organizing your space. Effortlessly expand or relocate your setup to fit any surface, thanks to its innovative, toolless QuickLock mechanisms that let you rearrange in seconds.
Decide how you would like to use your GEN2 storage. Keep in mind that the drawers are modular and can be easily swapped between under table and table top locations. All drawers are available for mounting under the table using rails, but you can also place them on top of any surface with table top kits (Currently only available in STANDARD length drawers)
Attach GEN2 drawers under any surface by installing the GEN2 RAILS. Once installed drawers can slide and lock into place, they can then be swapped out and rearrange in seconds.
Table Top Kits include covers and foot rails that when combined with drawer cases create a rigid structure that can be placed anywhere
Drawers are available in two flavors:
Original drawers date back to the design I first came up with in 2019. They feature a print in place handle, are easy to print and requires no supports.
These drawers feature have an interface on the front that allows you to attach and swap faceplates as well as handles and knobs.
I personally love these drawers for the fact that I can print the drawer bodies out of a more economical filament, and use my more precious filaments on the faceplates.
Please note that a majority of these faceplates are exclusive to club members or available for purchase which helps support the GEN2 project.
Choose the drawer length that best fits your 3D printer and intended use. For most people, the best option is 185 (STANDARD) as it offers optimal storage and is compatible with the most printers.
If you have a Bambu Lab A1 Mini or Prusa Mini, 165 (MINI) drawers are a great fit for smaller build plates (180mm).
