Labels are essential to quickly identify and locate items. Labels can be 3d printed or as simple as being printed with a label maker.
With modern, 3d printer slicers, creating labels is an easy process, on both multicolor and single color printers.
• PrusaSlicer - Add text to the label surface by right clicking the label in the list on the right (make sure you're in Advanced mode) Select “Add part > Text”
• Bambu Studio - With your label part selected, click the Text tool at the top of your screen.
• In the menus that appear you can set font size and text. Sans-serif fonts such as Arial or Poppins works well.

• MMU Printers: Change the color for your text and print
• Single Color Printers: Slice the label model, on the layer slider that appears vertically on the screen, drag it down until you find the layer where the text begins printing, click the “+” to add a color change. This will allow you to swap filament colors and print the text in a different color.

TIP: If text prints too thin you can try changing the font to a bolder variant. You can also try enabling "Arachne" within your slicer software to correctly print thinner font sections.
